The Niba Albert Foundation (NAF) was established in 2004 as a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization. The mission of the foundation is to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country through assistance to disadvantaged groups of the society, especially orphans and disabled children.

The Headquarters seat of NAF is located at Bawum, Bafut about 4Km from Bamenda, the capital city of the North West Province, Republic of Cameroon. Worthy of mention is the fact that NAF complex shares boundaries with the Bamenda Airport in addition to the fact that it is situated only 3Km from the historic Bafut Palace and the adjoining ring road that leads to interesting sites for tourism such as the Menchum Falls, Lake Nyos and Kimbi River Game Reserve.

Twenty hectares (~40 acres) of land along with established facilities make up the NAF complex, thanks to the generosity of NAF’s founder Mr. Niba Albert.
