OUR WORK - ACTIVITIES:
In order to fulfill the above aims and objectives, the Foundation’s activities include:
1. Identifying orphans and disabled children and providing them with basic educational support at the primary, secondary and vocational level and at university level where necessary;
2. Providing assistance to those local charity organizations that support orphans and disabled;
3. Support and/or establish, if need be, rehabilitation centers and/or business incubators to enable orphans and disabled children to develop their business skills such as in art work;
4. Support the acquisition of aids (e.g. wheel chairs and crutches) needed for orphans and disabled children;
5. Provide support to groups and agencies that fight against child abuse and neglect;
6. Provide and/or seek employment opportunities for orphans and disabled children in agriculture, industrial or commercial ventures and provide them with the required minimal financial guarantee, as need be.
7. Support health programs and activities that target the control and treatment of HIV/AIDS, malaria and other epidemics for the benefit of orphans and disabled children;
8. Establish, if necessary, modern information and library services, including INTERNET, for use by orphans and disabled children; and
9. Carry out such other activities as are incidental and/or conducive to the attainment of the aims and objectives of the Foundation.
